Rebecca Friesen is a Research Scientist in the Department of Educational Psychology. She researches equity and motivation in STEM, psychological and environmental factors affecting college aspirations, exploratory behaviors in early childhood, parenting practices, and the influence of power on change. She brings expertise in culturally responsive evaluation methods, survey administration, focus group protocols and facilitation, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, among other skills.
