Welcome to the Center for Educational Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (CEARE)
The Center for Educational Assessment, Research, and Evaluation (CEARE) is housed in the Department of Educational Psychology located in the College of Education at the University of Arizona (UArizona). The core focus of CEARE is to offer program evaluation services, training, and scholarship opportunities that foreground COE’s and UArizona equity-centered mission in research, teaching, and service to the Arizona community and beyond.
To do so, CEARE is designed to promote the University’s ambition for excellence, distinctiveness, and inclusivity by working to meet the growing need for program evaluation. In addition, we provide faculty, staff, and students training in educational evaluation methods and methodologies and will serve as evaluation experts for grants, projects, and programs at COE and UArizona. In doing so, CEARE personnel are focused on improving the success rate of grant submissions through strengthening evaluation sections of grants and contracts while also training the next generation of evaluation experts.
